Default State of Connecticut - Give up your AR/High cap mags or leave

Wondering if anyone seen this yet? Seems to me that they just want the people to leave if they have an AR or other high capacity magazine weapon. They gave a small window to register the weapons and no longer will let the residents register as shown here. Many people were not even aware that registering was required by a new law. These people are now required to do one of the following or, I am assuming jail time. Whats everyone's opinion of this?

Stupid kills. (But not often enough to make a real improvement.)

I'll keep my opinion to myself on this one.

I'd suggest a fishing trip to a deep lake.
