Default CC on my property without LTCF

Can I concealed carry on my own property without a LTCF? If not, what about inside my own home?

    Thanks!

I want to point out that there is some disagreement about CC on your own (and other) private property.

The law prohibiting CC reads : "...except in his place of abode or fixed place of business"

There is disagreement on what "place of abode" means. Case law indicates that your "abode" is your house or dwelling. Does "place of abode" include your property, IE: land? I say yes but that's only my interpretation of the text absent case law or other clarifying authority.

I am changing the flyers this weekend to state the actual text of the law
"place of abode or fixed place of business" due to this recently discovered confusion.

    I can see your point.
I read it the same as you, my abode, is my property.

And "PLACE of abode," I would guess, should be moreso.

Just as concealed means concealed, private property means PRIVATE property. IMHO.

As far as I can tell, the term "abode" is not defined in the UFA. However, it is used in PA law in other places, such as in the tax code:

Residential use—The use or consumption within that portion of a structure used as a home, dwelling, private residence, condominium, housing cooperative, prefabricated building, camper, summer home, motor home or similar place of abode.
This usage would suggest that the "abode" is the physical structure in which you live, regardless of whether you own it. Whether it extends to property adjoining that structure is hard to tell. Since PA law is not consistent about what a firearm is, perhaps it is not consistent about what constitutes an abode. It seems the term is not used much in the criminal code - I went looking for it under burglary offenses, but it refers to "occupied structures" instead.

After PaPatriot tried it, and after I tried it, let me try it for a third time.

    "PLACE of abode"

    Law Encyclopedia: Abode

This entry contains information applicable to United States law only.

One's home; habitation; place of dwelling; or residence. Ordinarily means "domicile." Living place impermanent in character. The place where a person dwells. Residence of a legal voter. Fixed place of residence for the time being. For service of process, one's fixed place of residence for the time being; his or her "usual place of abode."
