    Red face Laserlyte issues

Good evening, all. My hubby bought a Laserlyte training gun for us at Christmastime. It seems to run through batteries very quickly. Anyone else having any issues with this device? We tried taking the batteries out (manufacturer's suggestion) as the batteries are very sensitive to sound and movement. If we can't fix the problem, we're sending it back for a refund.

    Thanks for your time.

I've had one for quite a while and,,,,,,, yes, they eat batteries. The unit is "listening" whenever it has a battery inserted. Removing the batteries is the only way to extend their life.

I just went on line and ordered a dozen. They are a lot cheaper that way.
    George,
So many guns, so little money.

Laserlyte has an EXCELLENT customer service center and they will make things right. I've had to send mine back a few times (one due to me messing it up) and they fixed and then replaced it. Each time they sent me extra batteries too. Highly recommend their company if you give them a chance to resolve the situation.

ETA - just remove the batteries when you're not using it. There is no "off" switch so this is something that you just have to get used to doing. My batteries have lasted fine using this method.

Thank you, everyone. My email inquiries to the company have been answered promptly and courteously. Their instructions on paper and on their web site leave much to be desired. Still a very good training tool so we'll be keeping it.
