I've got a relatively modern (3 years?) rcbs rock chucker & it's not aluminum. I like it just fine. It's simple, tough, and easy to operate. It looks like it would take a very serious beating & doesn't flinch at forming 300 blackout cases from 223.

If cost were no object, those Forster presses look real purdy.

I have a similar age Rock Chucker press and it's made of cast steel. I think the RCBS partner press is made of aluminum.

That Forster press looks really strong but the price is way out of my league.

I have three single stage presses on my Bench. My first press a pacific power C I bought back in the early 70. I still use it with My Redding G-rx Die. I bought a Redding Boss press liked the press and price. I needed a Little more ram so I bought the Redding Big Boss. Its great for the longer magnum rounds and case forming.

I have 2, a Lyman 'C' press from the late 70's and a Lyman Crusher II that I bought about 6 years ago. No problems with either.

I have a RCBS Rockchucker that is almost 40 years old and still going strong. My first press was a RCBS Jr. which I traded in on the Rockchucker. Mine has loaded untold thousands of rounds over the years and the only thing I've had to replace is the primer catcher which was lost in one of my moves.

NOOO its not!! The Rock Chucker is NOT made of aluminum.. it is cast iron.

Just bought mine last year...it is most certainly cast iron.

Checked the website also, still cast iron..

Phew.... i thought i was going to stroke out...

Another vote for Rockchucker. It handles everything with ease.

My own impressions up to this point on the different brands and presses:

Lee: It works. I like the breech lock bushings.

Hornady LnL: When I hear about Hornady presses it always seems like people have fussy little problems with them.

RCBS Rock Chucker: Overengineered, but seems to always be popular, no major or minor issues.

Redding Boss: Pricey and die sets of theirs are pricey, but I never hear any big complaints.

Lyman: I believe this brand was popular years ago but I never hear them mentioned much despite having a full range of products.
