Re: Gun bashes?
I hate it when they post the ticket information on their website but don't show what guns are on the ticket. At $25/ticket I assume it's the usual cheap Remingtons, Savage Axis, 10/22, 12 guage pumps, etc. I really wish more of these would have better prizes. I would gladly throw down $40-50 for a ticket on a ticket that had $600 rifles instead of $300 rifles, maybe some nice optics, few semi auto turkey guns, a 6920 in there for good measure. I'm not a Glock guy but would guess most people would be happy with a Glock or a decent 1911. You could still throw a couple lower priced guns in there, nobody is going to bitch about winning a 10/22 or even a mkIII pistol. You could get a pretty nice Vortex scope for around $300.
I'll volunteer my services for the next organization that needs help setting up the ticket for their gun bash, lol.

The FOAC bash is $50 a ticket and the guns are $600 and up. They are giving away a scar 17 as one of the prizes.

If you can't get FOAC tickets at Ace's, PM me. I still have a few left and can mail them to you.

Nope, I'm a card carrying member of FOAC and wanted to give the members over in this area (and there are a bunch of us) a chance on these guns too. I've been going for 3 years now, both Spring and Fall and always have a great time with Chris, Kim and the gang.
Rant On - Man I wish it were true. I can't find 22LR anywhere. And despite what the guys at Wal-Mart say, I an sure they tell their buddies when the shelves are stocked and they come in and buy up all of them, really pisses me off. I say that because even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then, but I have been in both stores here at different times of day and night and different days and there are never any on the shelf. - Rant OffRon USAF Ret E-8 FFL01/SOT3 NRA Benefactor Member
