    Default new gun owners

    A couple friends recently joined me in being a gun owner and we're looking for a range we can visit and shoot together. Hopefully one that offers classes to newbies. Any suggestions?

    If you are looking for an indoor range to shoot handguns, Keystone gun club on E 28th.

    Depending on where you all live;
    Keystone is a great, indoor only, club. It is in town, not far from the "ghetto walmart"
    Gem City is an indoor/outdoor range, east side off Wales Rd, on Donlin Rd, off Station Rd, Rte 430.
    Elk Creek Sportsman is indoor/outdoor and is on Rte 20 on the west side, past the airport.
    My 'net is slow this morning and I can't give you links.

    FYI its the Walnut Creek Gun club on Rt. 20. Also would recommend Bob's gunshop / Lethal weapons training academy in McKean.

    I go to Walnut Creek. I have been meaning to get a membership to Gem City forever but forget about it every January. I've been in Bob's only three times in over six years and always walked out wondering why I went in

    Bob's has a nice indoor range and some rentals. He offers some quality training here, http://www.lethalweaponstraining.com/

    His selection isn't as big as larger shops but his prices are usually hard to beat. I frequent other shops but rarely buy anywhere else.

    Bob is one of those, "some days" kind of a guy. Some days he's very friendly, others he just seems to not give a ship.

    Thanks for the suggestions. Greatly appreciated. I tried out Keystone on Tuesday, the guy there was very friendly to all of us and we are considering joining now. Great thing is that it's just a couple minutes away from all of us.
