CC registration out of state
Hey everyone! I'm an Ohio resident looking to apply for a Pennsylvania CCW since my Ohio CCW is not recognized in PA. From my research, it appears that I need to fill out the application and turn that in to any county sheriff office along with a photo copy of my Ohio CCW and passport photo. As best I can determine the fee is $19. Is this information correct? Am I missing anything else I will need? Also I read somewhere that some county sheriffs refuse to process out of state CCW applications, so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend what county I should apply in? I would be coming in on I-70 so preferably a county near the WV border. Thanks in advance for your help!

The total fee is $20. Your best best is to call the sheriffs near the SW part of PA and see which will do non-residents. Some will; some won't. ALL are supposed to, though.
Fayette County will, I believe, but call first to check.

You won't need a photo, the sheriff's office will take it there. Just your OH permit and driver's license.
