    Thumbs down Glock 30

I just finished cleaning my Glock 30. I reassembled it, and while function checking I noticed the slide is locking back with an empty magwell. WTH?? Slide also locks back and does not return to battery with snap caps loaded into magazine. Did I knock a little spring out of the slide lock while cleaning? How can I fix this? Advice appreciated...and I thank you in advance.

Sounds like the slide release lever spring is on the wrong side of the locking block pin. It needs to be underneath it, not on top.

If the slide stop is installed incorrectly or the spring on the slide stop is broken, then yes. It is pretty common for guys to install the slide stop wrong. Easy fix.
