Default How to Secure an 'Elevated' Safe

I just got a 'legitimate' safe. I moved it into the house and now want to secure it. I also want to elevate it a couple of inches so that if the basement floods, the safe & it's contents will be OK. I could fabricate some small steel bases to put the safe on which will elevate it, but if I do this it will be easy to cut the bolts that secure it to the concrete floor. I also though about doing all of this and then building a form around the safe and pumping some concrete. This would probably work (and inhibit access to the bolts thus making it difficult to cut them), but be somewhat involved.

With all of the above in mind, what is the simplest way to elevate & secure a safe?

secure a couple 2x4s or 4x4s to the concrete and connect right to them

Do not over think it, Get some steel tubing say 4"x4" cut to length. Bolt it to the safe and set it up. A thief does not want to spend hours trying to remove your safe. a heavy safe is a determent in itself.

Elevate it however you want, but get a machete and a large leaf spring, mount it so that if they try to move the safe, the machete swings out and takes them off at the ankles. Better yet, make it so it swings up and filets them , genitals first!!! yeah, that's the ticket!

Build a closet around it. A thief can't steal what he doesn't know is there.

Drill the floor and epoxy rebar into holes. Poor concrete riser and bolt safe to the riser. Place in corner and bolt to both walls for best bet.

Fill it with enough ammo that when they try to tilt it it will just crush them to death!

I would make a frame from steel 2x4 tubing that has the exact same footprint as the safe, leaving the middle open. If you cannot weld then have a welder do it, should be like $50 or so. Protects the bolts all the way around.

Doing the same with wood 2x4's would accomplish the same thing, albeit slightly less durable.
