Went there this past Friday night with the wife. No class 3 rentals. They have some AR's, AK's and a variety of handguns for rent. $5 for pistol, $10 for rifle plus ammo.

I brought two of my handguns with my own ammo to shoot and rented an AR for the wife to shoot in hopes she would like it and let me get one . I think it worked!

    That's $10 very well spent!

Just don't let her know how much accessories you plan to put on the AR, and how much they would cost.....

I'm wondering if anything or anyone's views have changed about the Altoona Indoor Range since the last post about it. I've only been inside once for ammo, but there were only a couple people inside, and I felt very awkward asking about the facilities when I was only there for a few-minutes-long transaction. It's a shame they don't have a website or a social media presence.

I do most of my shooting at Blair County Fish, Forestry, and Game (Riggle's Gap) and ultimately wondering whether a membership at the indoor range would be worth it.
Don't ask me about Eat'n'Park's chicken parm.

Google says that it's permanently closed. This thread is from 2014
