Default USPSA orientation, 2-15, sounds like fun!

Anyone in Erie, or close by, ever want to try USPSA shooting?
I did it a year or two ago, and had a blast!!

The most dangerous place in America is a "gun free" zone.

Good time! About 30-35 people tried it out, very diverse group.
I shot 17 of 18 A hits, and had a decent time score.
If you've never tried this, DO IT!!! It's a blast.
The entire operation is focused on safety first, so minimal danger concerns.
Gem City does it every Friday night, and "rookies" are welcome. You shoot in your own class, so you're not competing against "pro's", and everyone helps newbies out.
In summer they do steel plate shoots.

To clarify on what Truckman said...

Gem City Holds USPSA events on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of January, February and March on the indoor range. April thru November the events are on the 1st Sunday of the month only once a month outside on our outdoor range. The indoor events will have paper targets only and the outdoor events will have a combination of steel and paper. If you would like more info you can contact Matt at

I wanted to come, but I ended up getting called into work that day. Maybe with the new job coming up, I won't have that problem anymore.
