usp45 or fnx?
Which pistol do people prefer?
The reason I ask is I currently own and love my Usp 45 tactical. It is far more accurate than I'll ever be, and more importantely is the most reliable pistol I've ever seen. However, I've recently developed a desire to run an RMR sight on the pistol.I found a Smith who can mill the slide and fabricate an adaptor (the spendy route), or I could sell it and purchase the more modern fnx 45 tactical with its factory miller slide.
An RMR equipped usp would be both unique and awesome (two things I love in guns) , but if the fnx does the same job with equal reliability I'd rather save some serious pennies.

I guess it depends how much you like the USP and keeping it original.
Myself I find the FNX 45 to be a fine gun, especially for the price.

Mill it.
Go ahead.
It will be awesome.
FNX is great too but how often do you see a RMR on an HK?

I bought an fnx tactical with RMR it is a great gun I wished they made one in 9mm. I recently bought an mp core pro in 9 with an RMR have not shot it yet.

The FNX 45 Tac is a great pistol. I vote buy the FN and keep the HK.

Re: usp45 or fnx?
From the "Why own one when you can have two at only twice the price" school of thought
The two guns are just too similar to justify owning both, unless of course I learn to shoot akimbo style.
For those who have and love the FNX, how has the reliability been for you? Loosing the USP legendary ruggedness is my main concern with switching platforms.
