    Default ***Canceled*** Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association Multi Gun Shoot

    Canceled this month due to range conditions

    Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association
    20 Sportsman Ln.
    Newmanstown, PA 17073

    GPS coordinates: 40.291021,-76.290168

    Registration 8:30-9:30AM
    MANDATORY safety briefing 9:45AM
    Shooting starts at 10:00AM
    $10 per shooter

    Guns needed:
    Center fire semi auto pistol or revolvers, no magnum cartridges
    Center fire semi auto magazine fed rifle, no larger than .308
    Pump or semi auto shotgun

    Ammo:
    Up to 100 rounds Pistol
    Up to 100 rounds Rifle
    Up to 50 rounds Shotgun, no larger than 7 shot.

    No steel core ammo permitted.

    4 stages. No slings. No major/minor. Scoring is time plus. A - 0 sec added. B - 0 sec added. C - 1 sec added. D - 3 sec added. Miss - 5 sec added. No shoot hit - 10 sec added.

    Chamber flags are required for all long guns when not in use on the course. They sell them at the club for $2.50 a piece if you do not own any.

    would a saiga 20 loaded with birdshot be ok for this course?

    Yes it would. I've used my Saiga 12 in the past.

    Cool, thanks. I have a 10 rd and a 5 rd mag for it. I didn't know if there was a minimum load needed for shotgun.

    I'd bring both sizes. You might only be allowed to load less than 10 to start but you can carry an extra mag on you. 5 might not be enough for some stages but would be enough as a backup mag if you need extra.

    February shoot has been cancelled do to the range conditions

    We have decided to cancel the shoot this month due to the conditions of the range. This was a decision that was not easy to make! We feel that the safety of all who attend these shoots is the most important aspect to us. We hope that you all understand and continue to support us in the future.

    We would also like if any of you have contact info for others you know who attend could help pass the word!

    See everyone in March!
