Reading HB 1010 is for repeal of long guns exemption to background checks.
I'm presuming Rep Steve Barrar is in opposition to this and is the reason for the protest?

Basically antis announce a protest two days ago and the current call is for a counter protest to show our support for Barrer. Basically a situation where the timing could not be helped.

Delco anti organization upset that barrer is the only state rep from delco that does not support 1010.

usually the antis don't even announce these anymore, just within their own hardcore groups. Thats why they typically only get a handful to show up.

Really? Guess I'll have to let Joe Hackett know my take on his support of this bill then. I've already written letters to him and Sen. Erickson and asked that they refuse to support any new gun control laws. I'll withhold my votes for him in May and November.
