AR shooting and training class near downingtown
Hi members ,
I am a new owner of an AR however I'm a little concerned that now I have no place to shoot it. Does anyone know where can I shoot my new AR near downingtown and bring my own amo (not target master)? Also, I would like to do a training course using my own AR and train with .223/5.56? I know I'm being a little picky but why train with something that I'm not going to use? Thanks for you help!!! Stay shooting my friends.

I'd suggest joining a good outdoor range. New Holland Rifle and Pistol is a good club, and is very AR friendly.

As for training. I've taken about 2/3 of the courses offered by Pat Goodale. He is based in West Virginia, but comes to PA a few times a year. His tactical rifle class is awesome, and he is holding one in Schaefferstown (about an hour from you) in late June. I highly recommend it.

Good luck!

I belong to this club, and shoot my AR there all the time, along with a bunch of others. AR friendly, and no over restrictive rules. Has rifle, pistol, shotgun, and indoor pistol every Wednesday night. It is up near Elverson.

New Holland Rifle and Pistol Club would be good for you to try, it's located at:
589 Meetinghouse Rd.
Gap, PA
Also I'd take a look at Rockwell Tactical. They are based out of Lancaster and they have training class's at New Holland.
Their web site is:
www.rockwelltactical.com
The next carbine class at New Holland is found at:
http://www.shop.rockwelltactical.com...40320-c101.htm
If you want to see some reviews:

I have no financial ties with these guy, I know them , taken some class's from them and they are a class act. I volunteered to post their class's on PFOA training events.

I second rockwell tactical. They are ex special forces and have trained people around the globe. My review of their AK101 course is in the post listed above I believe.
