Default One new rifle and two other projects completed.

All in all a pretty good week for me in regards to firearms. Last weekend I picked up the parts to finish an AR build I started a few years ago. I finished it up in the A4 configuration.

Yesterday I bought a Winchester Model 70 in .264 Win Mag, a caliber I've always wanted since I'm a fan of 6.5mm rifles.

As an added bonus my CZ 550 came back from the gunsmith with the stock reinforced and bedded and rechambered to .458 Lott. It was previously a .458 Win Mag. The work was done by Lee Baker at the Hunters Den in Carson City NV. I'd recommend him to anyone.

    The AR, Win and CZ.

Now I need to get glass for them. I'm thinking an ACOG, the same as the Marine Corp uses. The Winchester will get a Leupold 3x9. I may play around with the open sights on the CZ for a while. But with my ageing eyes it'll probably get a Leupold 1.5x5.

To top things off I found a really nice S&W 3913 and put it on layaway. A pretty good week....

One of these things is not like the others
One of these things just doesn't belong
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

    LOL!

They all belong my friend. Just different developmental stages of the modern sporting rifle.

Thumbs up Re: One new rifle and two other projects completed.

Nice. A CZ 550 or 557 is on my short list.

They are nice rifles, I like them. I had another 550 in 6.5x55 that my wife took possession of. A happy problem that gave me a good excuse to buy the .264 Win. I want to get one of their .22LR rifles. Can't remember the model number at the moment.

To throw out a suggestion look up a Browe BCO/BSO and compare to the ACOG.

Thanks for the input. I trying to recreate an A4 like the Marine Corp uses. So I've pretty well have my mind set on the ACOG.
