Don't be disappointed if it's noisy for the first 500 rounds it will get quieter.

When I return from vacation I am going to send mine in to upgrade it to the kestrel core. They lowered the upgrade to $150

Wow just got kicked in the balls.

So I Efiled my form 1 February 27. Just called them to for a status update because NFA tracker looked like it could be ready end of this month or next.

The lady takes thirty seconds and comes back and says November.
Seriously?! Didn't they just hire a bunch of people?

Stupid ATF And their bs NFA!

Gonna go sit in the corner and mutter a few curses.

I had to order a spacer from Gemtech to run it on my M&P15-22. That's the only threaded 22 I have at the moment. Heading to the range soon as I get it with a 500rd brick; thanks for the heads-up!

Is the kestrel core a one-piece baffle design? I have the aluminum baffles at the moment.

It's not a one piece design but it snaps together so all the crud never touches the outer tube so it is easier to take apart plus it's stainless so you can use all the nasty cleaners without damaging the baffles!
