Stippling on top of a Cerekote/Duracoat finish?
Has anyone stippled a firearm that's been cerekoted or duracoated before? Not meaning prior to the cerekote finish, but afterwards.. I've seen a few pics online of Glocks that have been finished and then stippled, and I kinda like how the black shows through, but I'm not sure which finish was used.. I was wandering if anyone else has attempted this, what finish you used, and what were the results?

Re: Stippling on top of a Cerekote/Duracoat finish?
The black is showing through probably because the paint that was in that spot stuck to the burner. Doesn't sound ideal to me but everyone has different tastes. Why not stipple first and then fill in the stipple marks with black paint? May take longer, but you'll have the whole gun painted and won't have hundreds of edges around stipple holes that oils, solvents, and grease can penetrate and begin to lift the rest of your paint job off.......which would be inevitable.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
