    Default Gun Shop

I'm relatively new to the region and I am looking for a local place that's well stocked. I need a place I can go and not get price gouged on arms or ammo. I'm looking for suggestions please.

    Thanks

May I suggest National Sporting Goods in Jersey Shore. Very well stocked and quite knowledgeable. Prices are competitive.

National in Jersey Shore is a great shop with good people: http://www.nationalsportinggoods.net/

I also like Survival Response Technologies in Linden: http://survivalresponse.org/ I have them Cerakoting several of my guns currently.

Both above are good shops. Their is also Troxels on Lycoming creek road. Has some really good prices on new guns and doesn't gouge at all on ammo. I also frequent Sauers in South Williamsport. Not as big a store but, his prices are competative and he is willing to deal with you on just about anything.

I regularly make rounds to both above and National. Good deals can be found at all 3. National probably has a larger stock than the others combined however. If your looking to spend sometime window shopping that's where I go. Their prices can be high though.

I should have mentioned Troxell's, too. Not as great a selection of firearms as National but probably lowest prices on ammo and reloading gear I have found. Have not purchased firearms from them but have shopped.

Sauers, IMHO, is OK. Not much selection but willing to deal.

Troxells has the best reloading component selection and prices in Central PA. Gun prices are the lowest when in stock. National does have the largest selection and Sauers gets the best used / new deals out there when in stock, Mike.
