    Default Parkerizing

Anyone in the area do any Parkerizing? Or know of anyone that does Parkerizing?

I have two serialized AK receivers and a barrel I need parked.

Barrel already has the gas port hole drilled, so that'll need to be plugged along with the muzzle/chamber of course.

I haven't drilled the front and rear trunnion holes yet. Can that be done after the park?

    Thanks

Might want to drill for trunnion first and dimple receiver for swell neck rivets needed but they might get covered by rivets anyway. Been interested in parking stuff myself watched some doing at home YouTube on BBQ and buying solution but need supplies like trays, thermometer, or local gunsmith could park them also I think it would $100 or so. Looking to oil it or paint over park?

The brownells stuff is easy to use, a blasting cabinet helps prep the job. The pre black dip is great also. You can make a mix of grey and black parts.
