Need help; Taurus mod 94 L 22 Revolver
Guyz, girlz, need some help. I bought my first Taurus, a model 94 L 9 shot, 22 cal revolver. Feels good, shoots pretty doggone good. Have several other 22 pistols/revolvers but I just wanted this one, shoot some acorns through it, etc.
Anyway, I don't like the spring effort, either the hammer or trigger return. I've got a couple of alternate springs from Wolff but during the disassembly I have one or two pins that I can't be sure have a good home. I've got a rather small sketch of the parts/exploded view but tough to determine where these guys go.
Anyone know where I can get a GOOD viable exploded view of the 22 Taurus Revolver? Thanks in advance.
Sgt Steve

Over at www.taurusarmed.net there is a sticky in color and a video on this issue, the change in springs will work wonders for the 94.

Gentlemen (ok, stretching) thanks for the input. I'm a little behind, wifey has been ill and I"m spouse sitting. Will get into them.
By the way the springs I got from Wolff were not specifically for the .22 cal as I did not find any for that cal but just the Taurus revolver.

Yah all those Taurus uses the same Springs as they are all built on the Same Model 85 frame.
I did not buy the kit from Wollf , i just cut down the
Taurus springs, i cut 2 1/2 coils off the hammer spring and 2 coils off the trigger return spring, now its nice and sweet.Last edited by mrnyman; January 14th, 2014 at 07:12 PM.

Didju grind a flat on the end you cut off, anything like that?
Hey Mr. New York, another question: the pin I am trying to place (locate) is rougly .500 long. OD is .095
.100 OAL of the .500 length is turned down to an OD of .065.
Do you happen to recall where this pin was located?

Yes i did use my dremel to smooth up the edges of the springs after i cut them, but you can use a file to achieve the same if you do not have a dremel, just take longer.
If you use a dremel careful not to overheat the spring, rest in between so the spring cool down.
Are you talking about the the pin with the plunger at one end of it?

[SINah, not that pin. I think you're speaking of the trigger operating plunger operating pin. This pin I'm speaking of is the one that is only 1/2" long. I don't know why but I believe the 1/2" pin is the pivot for the pawl operation.
