Moms Demand Action Following MADD Instruction Book
I monitor all gun stories across the nation and in the last month or so, the number of stories being pushed out by the PR arm of Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense in America has increased exponentially. And, I almost always find this paragraph at the end of every story.
About Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America
Much like Mothers Against Drunk Driving was created to change laws regarding drunk driving, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America was created to build support for common-sense gun reforms. The nonpartisan grassroots movement of American mothers is demanding new and stronger solutions to lax gun laws and loopholes that jeopardize the safety of our children and families. In just one year, the organization has more than 130,000 members with a chapter in every state in the country. For more information or to get involved visit www.momsdemandaction.org. Follow us on Facebook www.facebook.com/MomsDemandAction or on Twitter @MomsDemand
They are using the same strategy and tactics that allowed MADD to influence major changes in the laws governing alcohol and the police actions associated with enforcement of those laws. When MADD started, they said their purpose was “To aid the victims of crimes performed by individuals driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, to aid the families of such victims and to increase public awareness of the problem of drinking and drugged driving." There were many people who said their real purpose was to ban alcohol but nobody was listening.
Since then the original founder quit MADD stating that the radicals had taken over and they are now trying to ban alcohol.
The Mothers Demand will follow the same path and they now have Bloomberg money bankrolling them. Politicians will be crucified if they speak out against "Moms" and "Saving the Children."
Here are their current stated goals. Rest assured their primary goal is the total banning of all guns.
Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots organization that educates, motivates, and mobilizes moms and families to take action for stronger gun laws and policies that save lives. We envision a country where all children and families are safe from gun violence. Our common-sense solutions to the escalating problem of gun violence in the United States are straightforward:
1) Require background checks for all gun and ammunition purchases;
2) Ban assault weapons and ammunition magazines that hold more than 10 rounds;
3) Track the sale of large quantities of ammunition, and ban online sales;
4) Establish product safety oversight of guns and ammunition, and require child-safe gun technology;
5) Support policies at companies and public institutions that promote gun safety;
6) Counter the gun industry's efforts to weaken gun laws at the state level.
They are using the same "Rules for Radicals" followed by Obama. We can do the same.

More ugly, ex-hippie radicals, and Marxists, trying to have a purpose in life like they did in the 60's, and 70's. They can go to Hell.
Maybe if they stopped shoving 1000 calorie lattes, and pastries in their face, they'd get some action.

Kamikazes, suicide bombers, and anti gun activists: you cannot reason with them, cannot make them stop, only take away their means to attack or their goal.
"You can't stop insane people from doing insane things by passing insane laws--that's insane!" -- Penn Jillette
"To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic." -- Ted Nugent

Re: Moms Demand Action Following MADD Instruction Book
Here's the typical ignorant comment from their Facebook page:
"Adam Lanza had neither medication nor therapy. What he had was an automatic military weapon and large capacity ammunition supplied by his mother who believed in her 2nd amendment right to arm herself and her disturbed son. She and 26 innocent people, including 20 tiny children suffered the consequences of her belief and his access to unnecessary weapons in 2 minutes after he used that weapon to shoot and entrance in to the school. Something he COULD NOT HAVE DONE with any other gun. Mental illness is a problem. Mental illness combined with easy access to unnecessary, extreme, murder weapons is deadly."
Ignorance is bliss.
I like these Moms better:

Re: Moms Demand Action Following MADD Instruction Book
So many lies in that statement. First of all, it was a semi auto AR, NOT a military weapon. Second, Lanza KILLED his mother and STOLE her gun. She did NOT want him to have it. I don't remember, was the AR even used in the killings?
Damn liars. Has anyone called her out on these lies?

The price of Liberty is eternal vigilance....
That being said - big gulf between driving drunk and owning a firearm.

Re: Moms Demand Action Following MADD Instruction Book
...among which is to make fun of them.
Getting one of these maniacs "on a roll" about guns is amusing. They give KKK members a run for their money in pure bigotry...
The more our Media tells America "You're gonna get raped/knockedout/mugged/hurt the more people want guns.
If these cretins ever figure out that eliminating most violent crime would make handguns into useful paperweights we'll be in deep doo-doo. People won't want them and won't think anyone needs them.
Every time someone gets Knocked out, raped, robbed or murdered, someone wants a handgun.

Re: Moms Demand Action Following MADD Instruction Book
we have no problem disassembling any argument these moms have , its easy for us because we are educated on the subject an are also capable of critical thinking , contrary to those moms who seem to just run whole heartedly with what ever they are spoon fed by their leaders ,absolutely taking no time to really think about the issue an issues behind what happened an just spew nonsense . but to the sheeple who eat this up its gospel with out question .
AN THATS VERY SADDENING to my heart that very few of them actually question anything but blindly move forward .
I like the mom's pictured above better .Last edited by bodymangt; January 7th, 2014 at 06:30 PM.

Re: Moms Demand Action Following MADD Instruction Book
Which means that they're less like MADD (which wanted to change behaviors) and more like the "Women's Christian Temperance Union" (which created Prohibition).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrie_Nation
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woman%2...mperance_Union
This group helped lead the US into the "noble experiment" that gave us Al Capone, the "untouchables" and later "the War on (some) Drugs".
How to tell the difference?
Moms Demand Action would have to say that "gun standards" mean that New York City has to issue "Shall Issue Permits" and let every Law abiding citizen own a handgun.
They would also need to "reform and standardize" the laws of New Jersey, Maryland and other "restrictive states".
Fair is fair and compromise is compromise....
If they insist upon "local standards" then States that want to keep private transfers legal, who want to keep "Shall Issue" permits, or No Permit Carry, and so on, would have to be allowed to do it too.
"Compromise" means "give and take" and not "We'll take half today and the rest later on".
We have a lot of ways to head these people off.
Who remembers "American Rifle Association"? The one that Clinton Admin staff tried to start, which was pushing "sensible gun control"? I couldn't find anything but a Facebook page and a small one.
Divide and Conquer - how Elitists have put people down and kept them there since, well, for a long time.
