Yeah, I have some bricks of Remington .22 Thunderbolts tagged at $11.50. In October those bricks were going for $80.00-$85.00 on Gunbroker.

I have some older stuff that was cheaper but there's no prices on the boxes. I also have some Winchester 5.56 Q3131a with 1.99 tag on them per 20rnds, I just don't feel like digging through ammo cans to find it.

I don't want to look, it makes me sad. Who thought ammo would be a better investment than gold and silver.

DANGER......Do not shoot that ammo! It's old and might do strange things if shot. Send it to me for disposal.

Kidding. It's always cool to see what prices were. Thanks for posting.

Yep, I remember many range sessions with my AR's and AK's when I shot 1000 or more rounds in a day, and I did it often. Now it's maybe 50-100 at most.

Good thing you said kidding or I would have packed it all up and sent it to you.

I inherited some old 22 ammo and the cases were green. Half of them didn't go off.

Every time I buy ammo I take a Sharpie and write the date purchased, store, and price paid on it.

Most of the time it gets shot up before it gets old, but sometimes I pull out a box and say "holy CRAP".
