    Default CC while skiing

Made my ski pants quite tight with the full size pistol (really want a pocket pistol). Other than that, not too bad aside from bumping the lift chair once or twice. Fell on it once on a 40* slope of ice, didn't even really feel it. Only had it on me because I didn't want to leave it in the car or a rental locker.

You need to take your rifle with you so you can practice things like this.

I guess you have a good retention holster. I'd worry about dropping it, or getting gouged by it.

That was my first reaction too, but then I read the op closer.
He rightfully did not wish to leave it in his car or in the rental locker.

A bad situation but I think he did good.
Next time I would suggest one of those portable gun safes.

I would take my LCP skiing. I don't see how I could effectively use it on the slope even if I was attacked by say someone training for a biathlon who went a little funny in the head and went and did a silly thing.

But I would not want to keep it in the car or a storage locker and would like having it for the walk back to the car after dark. I would defiantly want it if I was staying the night.

I would carry it in a chest pocket and not on my hip though. I think I could suffer to much of an injury with it on my hip.

But would you carry Condition 1?

Are skies considered a 'conveyance' or being on foot?

Wouldn't matter if the gun were concealed.

    Skies?

Interesting question. Would you need LTCF to carry skiing.
Would not matter in this case as he carried concealed.
I would still think you would need a LTCF to carry in any manner, you are moving, not under your own power. Just like a bicycle or a horse.
