Springfield Armory XDS Recall - Anyone Got Their Gun Back?

My brother-in-law had an XDS .45 that he's been waiting a few months to be returned from the SA recall. Has anyone got their gun back yet? Do they offer a refund or anything like that for people who don't want to wait half a year to get their pistol back?

I have 2 or 3 friends that have had theirs back for a month or so. Offer you a refund? Lol I won't be sending mine off till Dec 2014(active duty army stationed overseas). I am just hoping they are still accepting them lol

Right now the wait is ~2mo

My friend sent his in 2-3 weeks after the recall was announced. He is still waiting on his gun. I actually sold mine because I didn't want to wait the 3 months to get my pistol back. I'll never buy another SA pistol after the way this was handled.

Been waiting since early November - According to their Weekly update, mine should be back by the end of January.

3 Month turn around....maybe.

Send mine in as soon as recall was announced. Had to wait until they figured out how to fix them ( they said they had a fix, but after a few weeks, they admitted they did not ). Once they figured out how to fix, I got mine back. If memory serves me it was about 2 months overall. The wait has gone up a bit I hear. You can keep going into their site, type in your serial number, and it will let you know at least if your gun has been worked on. Do not expect any communication from them unless you sign up for updates. Good luck.

I sent both my 9 and 45 in a few days after the recall was announced and got them back in October. I've since had the SA custom shop install night sights. I really like the XDs.

Sent mine in on the third day after the recall (was out of town when it was announced.) Got it back in early November. I had signed up for the email/text alerts and continue to get them. It does look like the longer you waited, the longer you will have to wait. The more days before you sent it, the more weeks before getting it back.

They have offered no refunds and I highly doubt they will. I was reading somewhere (maybe xdtalk?) that there would be a whole big issue with the transferring of all the guns and other headaches that they likely don't want to deal with. They are, however, sending a new 7 round magazine with them if that is any consolation.

The process was annoying and I wasn't very happy with it as the gun was pretty new, but I have other carry guns, so I didn't let it bother me too much.
