Question about conceal carry
I have my conceal weapons carry license and I have always had a inside the pants holster for it but was given a paddle holster and wasn't sure the rules on that. If I wear my gun in the paddle holster but say have a sweatshirt covering it does that still count as conceal carry? Thanks for the help!

Re: Question about conceal carry
I carry OWB. There are no 'brandishing' laws, so carry how you will.

It can be duct taped to your forehead with a beanie covering it and is concealed. If you can't see it, it's concealed. If you can see it, is not. Simple as that. If you start concealed and it gets uncovered its still OK as your not required to carry either one way or the other as long as you have your ltcf your good to go.

Re: Question about conceal carry
Concealed means hidden from common view, or not recognizable by the average person..
So long as you have your LTCF it doesn't matter in PA. There is no requirement here that the gun must be concealed because open carry is legal.Last edited by knight0334; December 31st, 2013 at 12:21 PM.

Re: Question about conceal carry
There are no laws against an eligible person open carrying (except of course in Phila, where you must have a PA LTCF in order to open carry).
Read the OC section here to get an idea of the encounters you may or may not have as an open carrier,, so that you can prepare yourself for how to react. I have open carried without incident, but some have had a tough time of it. Better to go into it with open eyes. You don't want to be blind sided.
What kind of gun/holster combo? I recently got a Fobus Roto something paddle holster for my 92fs. I like it on the range, but not so much for carrying and driving. It's a bit stiff and unforgiving when you move.
