    Default Glock 42

Anyone heard of the new rumors from Glock?

Share your thoughts and guesses on what it may be...

I have heard a small capacity, ultra thin, single stack 9mm.

I would doubt its a .380, they already make .380 models for Police and claim they cant import them to the public due to ATF import points system rule, yet a lot of Glocks are now manufactured in the USA so no import laws need apply .

I would imagine if they would just start making the .380 here they wouldn't give it a new model number..

    Anyways, Guess away!

It's going to be a Glock that shoots cutters in honor of Mariano Riveria and be "safe at home" in honor of Jackie Robinson. It will be a sorta screw you to NYC Mayor Bloomberg to have a gun produced to honor the two greatest players to wear 42 in NYC.

All kidding aside, my guess is it will be a single stack, pocket 9.

Little single stack .380. I'll be picking one up next year.

Glock has been manufacturing pistols at their Smyrna, GA plant for years now. Thus the import points system is no longer an issue. Neither a small single stack .380 or 9 would make the points for import so they have to make them here. The current G25 and G28 really don't have a place in the US market as long as the G19 and G26 is around.

My guess would be a single stack 9 based off of the 26
These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Thomas Paine 1776

All wrong. The Glock 42 is chambered in .454 Casull, M203 and A2 carry handle.
