Don't throw Toomey overboard just yet. PA for all intents and purposes has become a blue state. Toomey won by a mere 80,000 votes out of close to 4 million cast. Once they get his seat, we might be looking at wall to wall Democrat rule for a long time.

Senator/Admiral Joe Sestak is hardly "hiding in the wings".
For whatever reason, he has my email and he is very openly raising campaign funds and running an undeclared race against Toomey.

There is no reason I can think of that would make Kane want to give up her position as AG. Right now she is the top law enforcement officer in the state. She can directly and unilaterally enact her own agenda. Look at the reciprocity agreements, her refusal to defend the marriage laws. If she runs against Toomey and wins, she would be a Junior Senator, perhaps in the minority party. Little to no influence over anything. And if she resigns, wouldn't Corbett get to choose her replacement, or will he be gone by then too? Sestak will have some seniority when he defeats Toomey, by virtue of this previous term served.

Your right, he is not hiding in the wings, but he is being overshadowed by all the press that is bought and paid for shallow zealot called kane is getting.

Kane wants in on that Federal Gravy Train, PA AG is pretty much limited to what the Leglislature will give her. She's not from PA anyway and to her the AG job is small potatoes.
