One more successful battle in the war on the 2nd Amendment. This one went to the good guys. We need some more of these folks who are able to stand up to these laws and get them changed.

From the article;
"In 2011, the Legislature (Florida) passed another law containing a series of threatening local jurisdictions or agencies with fines against the agency heads, removal from office for elected officials and allowing for personal damages up to $100,000 for violations, Friday sad."
This is what Pennsylvania needs, a way to hold goverment accountable for ignoring/breaking state or federal law.

Re: Florida colleges can't ban guns
Is this for all schools or just public and not private schools?
I think an allowance should be made for people commuting to school or work. For example, I used to commute 70 miles one way. Many miles without any gas stations etc. Most likely one would need to either hitch a ride to nearest spot or stay put and await the police hoping no nefarious persons stop first. In this limited sense, I think allowing storage in a vehicle or an on-campus location (even better IMHO) is good. It does not require them to allow carry apparently.
Also, universities are made up of more than one college/school (plus post graduate studies) and a college alone usually specializes in one degree type or specific profession such as general studies or liberal arts. Technically the words are not interchangeable.
