Secure-It portable Handgun Storage Safe
I want to attach the cable to my truck seat, but I am leary of just bolting it. How did you mount yours? That didn't sound right!

What do you mean by "bolting it"? I have one of these and it wraps around the seat frame, connecting inside the safe itself. Keep in mind that the cable is only meant as a method for slowing the BG down. If someone is breaking into your truck he probably isn't using cable cutters.

Just wrap it around one of the corners where the seat bolts to the floor. Pull one loop through the other, then put the loop on the tail into the box and lock it up.
