Wages are based on the market. The only way he'll get a pay cut is if others like him are willing, and able to do the same job for less.
Don't blame unions for gov't bailouts.

If they did, that was then this is now. Like I said it's not 1900 anymore.
Employers have these things to attract and retain the best employees. It's a very mobile society now and all unions do is corrupt the marketplace while skimming off of it. They are parasites that eat the host, as they did with the steel and coal industry in this state.

I did the Walmart in-store phone a couple of times. I kept hoping to luck into the key to the store-wide public-address system.

I think Walmart's business model is to under staff their stores. If you want better service, you're going to pay more, but yeah finding someone to open the ammo display can be frustrating. I usually go and find someone who then calls the appropriate person, not that I've bought ammo at a Walmart recently.
