Default Do I need my acceptance letter to pickup my LTCF?

I got my acceptance letter right before thanksgiving and in all the holiday travel and my cat & wife's abilities to move everything I put anywhere I can't seem to find it. If I go down to the Media Courthouse without it will I be denied my LTCF licence?

Can't say for positive (depends on their mood),,,,,, but most likely not. We (the bride and myself) did take ours and were asked for them. Just use the "Opps, I left it at home" and see how they handle it. Do take proper ID with you.

    Good Luck.

Eh, "I misplaced it" will probably go over better than "oops, I left it at home." My 2 cents.

Something is out of kilter here. Your location shows Philly but your picking up the LTCF in Media?

But more to the point. In Philly you can expect to be turned away from the pick up window if you don't have the letter. And that makes zero sense to me. Right there on the deck is an LTCF with a picture on it. Seems to me the thing is approved and no letter, or lack thereof, expressing it approved is going to make it less approved. Hoops, it's all hoops. I suppose a few collar counties to Philly have the same agenda.

Bucks County courthouse in Doylestown.......my wife, two of my daughters and myself, all on separate visits....out the door with the LTCF in our hands, 30 minutes or less from car locked to car unlocked. Parking was 25 cents.

Take the letter. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Why does that sound so familar?

In which case the OP would want to bring in a bag of dogshit with scraps of paper in it for proof. But be warned, nuns in Catholic schools did not think this was funny about four and a half decades ago. Trust me on this.

No, you do not need your letter.
    How do I know that?

Wife and I applied for LTCF a couple of years ago.
Waited 6 weeks or so and wife got hers.
Waited for mine a couple of weeks but nothing.
They do not answer that stuff on the phone.

Finally we just went down there and while getting hers I said "but where's mine?". The office staff said "Oh, we sent them out at the same time."

    But I never got it.

There was no accounting for what happened to mine but we proceeded forward and both wife and I walked out with our LTCF cards that day.

I would say that if you don't get a letter in a reasonable time, you just have to go down and check.

    And... a reminder.
They may or may not send out a reminder for your renewal.
You may or may not get it.
The burden falls 100% on you to renew within the timeframe of your LTCF or you have to start from the beginning.

You responded to a post that started and ended in December 2013. It's dead for a reason. My guess is he picked it up by now.
