Default 2nd Deer I Ever Killed - Video

Soooooo don't beat me up too bad! I found the video I made when I killed my second deer. I forgot I had it posted on youtube.

I'm slighlty embarassed for myself....I had no knowledge of the antlerless rules and what dictates a deer as antlerless....it was just a big spike but I thought its antlers were broken off.....dummy me....

Anyway, enjoy, make fun of me, whatever. This is really just to show that someone who is trying to get into hunting but is afraid of dressing their first deer it's really not difficult. I was a deer rookie and survived.

Hey football061 you ever read page17 in the rule book you get when you buy your license? Read the part about baiting.

Is scent considered baiting? I know active bait piles are illegal and hunting a non active bait pile within 30 days of removal is against the rules....but acorn scent?

Lures & Scents: Estrous scents and lures, or other non-food source cover
scents are legal for deer. Scents and lures that contain any form of natural
or artificial food stuff, including, but not limited to, corn, apple and
acorns are not legal. Use of drip devices are legal, with legal scents and
lures, as long as they don’t violate the prohibition against electronic devices.
The use of scents or lures while hunting bears is prohibited.
