Default I paid $3.79 for gas today.......

What are the prices like in your neck of the woods?

How long can we keep our standard of living with prices going crazy the way they are?

Are you having problems making ends meet yet?

I know my shooting has suffered because of the high cost of ammo and now gas.

Ammo-prices are just outrageous. Gas, up here is as well, 3.75-3.79. I've got a car that needs the "good stuff" 93 octane...It's not hitting the road this year.

    around 3.75 here in PGH.

June 1st the EPA requires that we switch to the special summer blend gas. It will take us up another .25 to $4 by then no problem.

I think its more phycological for me. I am rich in no sence of the word, and I drive a decent amount for my commute, but really my car gets 25-ish mpg city, I use 10-15 gallons a week. So $1 on the gas price (lets say we where down below $3) will only save me $10-$15 a week.

Saving $10 per week is a total of $520 a year. That's quite a bit of ammo.

Me too, we live in the same general area, reels18, I've seen the $3.78 to $3.83, my Harley requires at least 92 octane according to the manual and the premium is $4.05 to $4.09. My wife and I each have our own bike, getting hard to take that pleasure cruise anymore with these prices. I was shooting once a week, now maybe once a month.

It'll be a local summer that's for sure.

You got that right about a local summer. The weekend trips to the shore will be a thing of the past for me.

We raised any fee's involving the use of cars at work a few months ago by $40---Problem solved. I don't even look at the price, doesn't really matter either way its gonna get paid.
