Re: Progressive Ins. no weapons sign
Maybe you'll mention as well that the sign has no legal standing to prohibit such activity and can't be used alone to attempt a 'Tresspass' charge. In PA, a verbal request to leave must be ignored before one is guilty of trespass.
Might as well say "No Nike sneakers allowed, even if you're Michael Jordan".Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today! PM for more info.

Re: Progressive Ins. no weapons sign
I would if I had a legitimate reason to enter the premises. I did not feel that going in just to educate them on the legal bearing of their signage would be well received. When I am due to renew in July I will go in person and make sure they know why I am not renewing and that the sign carries no legal weight.

Re: Progressive Ins. no weapons sign
Why wait until July? You can change carriers any time you want.
I agree that you shouldn't go in just to 'educate' them, but as an existing customer you have a 'reason' to go there and express your concern any time you have one. Since I don't have a policy with them, I wouldn't just walk in if I were passing by and noticed the sign on the door.Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today! PM for more info.

Re: Progressive Ins. no weapons sign
The sign only prohibits *dangerous* concealed weapons. My sidearm is not dangerous unless I want it to be. No problem.
Any mission, any conditions, any foe at any range.
Twice the mayhem, triple the force.
Ten times the action, total hardcore.

Ummm... the guy who started Progressive insurance is one of the biggest anti-gun financial backers out there if I recall correctly.
I don't have the details handy, but he DEFINITELY doesn't want you or I to have firearms. PERIOD.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Progressive Ins. no weapons sign
I had a policy with them years ago, I canceled when I moved two miles from where I was and they raised my rates because the zip code I moved into was close to Philly, funny thing is, where I moved to was actually farther away from Philly. My old place I was right on the boarder, I could throw a stone from my front step and it would land in Philly.
