Glock is halting production of their "C" models...

I have a 17c. It's a suppressor host that has a Lone Wolf threaded barrel, but no suppressor.

The compensator ports in the slide fill with squirrel guts and will stop the pistol almost immediately upon firing. It will blind you at night. If you shoot it near your body, the compensated barrel will deliver 5th degree burns to 85%+ of you body.

Two of the above are true, one is true on the internet.....

Had a G23C, and a G17C. Both were great, never failed on me. And it never blinded me while firing at night. The ports do collect pocket lint and alike, but never to a point that it'll prevent firing.

Ported pistols are fun, but they will teach you one thing quickly, how to clean every inch of a gun.

I had a ported SA XD9V10 and it was a great gun, but it was completely filthy inside and out after fifty rounds. You couldn't see the front sight after 50 rounds either.

There's a lot of internet bullshit about not carrying a ported pistol like Flick said, because it'll sear all your skin off if you fire it from retention and you'll instantly go blind if you touch it off at night. Take all that with a grain of salt.
Selling off a a sizeable Spyderco collection here
