Default Glock Model 40 and 41?

Found some threads out there on other forums on 2 new rumored models. I feel like an Apple geek awaiting the next release of the IPhone, but it looks like word on the underground is either a single stack .380 or a longer slide 45. Either of these are now possible now that American made Glocks are in circulation and we dont have to worry about meeting import requirements. Wondering what your thoughts are..

Personally i think Glock is a little late in the game if it is a single stack .380... plus i think Glocks triggers are too light for a micro .380, as the LCP and Bodyguard have heavy trigger pulls by design..

Nevertheless, Glock may be trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist, not like they have a history of that (.45 GAP, anyone)..but i will anxiously await the news anyway, and will probably buy one just to be cool.

It's a single stack 9mm and .45 cal XDs competitor.

With all this trouble Springfield has had, Glock is going to hammer them with their new pistol.

Single stack 9 would be fantastic....they better expand their production line, those things would fly.

Glock already has a fantastic single stack 9mm, it is made by Kahr and it is called the P9.

Glock has been making a .380 for quite sometime (Glock 25/28) just import regs keep it from here besides some LEO/Mil Buys....

Ive heard from a higher up in Glock that the Glock 28 is coming in late spring, we shall see (pointless gun IMO for glock to push here state side to civilians)

So i am hoping for something else

I'll be interested in anything they offer in 45acp. Long slide or compact. I'm undecided on a 380. I like my Mustang. Single stack 9mm? Meh

The teaser photo for the Glock 42 looks like a small .380 single stack to me and that is what it is said to be.(looks to small for a 9mm) I would think a single stack 9 would be down the road for sure if they come out with the .380. It is suspected the G41 is a .45acp G21 with a longer slide/barrel like the G34/G35.

I will be buying the 42 if it is a small single stack .380.

The guy that came up with that ad never owned a Zippo.

My buddy heard Glock is coming out with a long slide .45acp. I don't know where he gets his information from (he's a Philly cop), but usually he is right when it comes to future pistol models. Either way, whatever they have planned won't be seen until Shot Show. Stay tuned...
