Waiting for my M&P rebate

Any folks here still waiting for their rebate from Smith & Wesson?
Bought my M&Pc9 in late February. I mailed the rebate form on March 3.
Two weeks ago I received my $50.00 check.

Now, I thought getting the check first was odd, so I am still wondering where are my 2 magazines?
The answer is it seems that Smith can't keep them in stock.
I read on another forum (http://mp-pistol.com) that they are on backorder.
I thought about contacting customer service but that won't get them here any quicker. Oh well, patience is a virtue.

About 10 days ago, i spoke with someone in S&W customer service. He informed me that the rebate + 2 magazive pgogram was a bigger success than S&W had anticipated.

He said that they are completely out of magazines and that it would be 4 to 6 weeks before they had enough extra in stock to begin sending them out.

Still waiting here too...purchased in early March, no word on anything. I thought about giving their customer service a call just to inquire, becuase as you've probably read from mp-pistol, some peoples' rebates have been lost.

I just wanted to make sure I was at least on file to get one.

Give them your serial # and they can tell you if you have been entered into their system.

I bought mine in early April, so it looks like mine will not be coming for a while.

Calling seems to be the best way to go.
BTW if you check the S&W web site they have a new rebate program through August. It looks like $30.00 OR 2 mags.

My stuff took 2 full months to get. My new rebate was sent out in late April, so I dont expect anything until June. Be patient...it will get there.

Still love both of my M&P 9mm's.

got my rebate check today....still no mags ...called S&W and they are still on back order and they are shipping oldest orders first.
