Re: Guthsviile Gun Club Website
They were having webmaster issues back in 2006 when I joined. The guy didn't want to give the board any access to the site. Hopefully they have a better arrangement now.
Thanks for the new url.___________________

Re: Guthsviile Gun Club Website
There was a problem with the membership secretary and record keeping, so to make sure the membership list is up to date, they are requiring a payment directly to the club in order to rebuild the membership list. There were discrepancies between the electronic totals of members and the club records. Everyone signs up and we will have a clean record of all members. I received mine in the mail and mailed it in. if you go to the meetings you will know all the info.

Re: Guthsviile Gun Club Website
Have any members received their new cards after renewing? I sent in and the check was not cashed yet. Just curious.

Still waiting too, about a month after check was cashed. I assumed there must have been a paperwork mess to clean up.

Now all we gotta do is find where they hid the thermostats for those outdoor ranges.

Received my membership card today. Just a plain white card. Whatever works.

Re: Guthsviile Gun Club Website
All Guthsville members need to know what is going on at the club. I was told the Board of Directors changed the shooting hours. Members can no longer shoot until sunset?!?!? If you look at the new web site www.guthsvillerodandgunclub.org the hours have changed. In some cases it will close over 2 hours before sunset. In the summer the range will be closed well over an hour and a half before sunset! Does anyone else know about this? Was it was passed by the members? I think members need to go to the meeting and get this changed back to sunset! I know I will be at the next meeting!

Re: Guthsviile Gun Club Website
It was voted on awhile ago. Honestly, set times is easier to enforce instead of "dusk" as that changes daily and unless you look at the specific time listed for "dusk" for the day, your interpretation may be different from the groundskeeper who will gladly report you for shooting "after hours" and then bye-bye membership. 4:30 during the winter cant be argued ... same for 7:00 in the summer. Also, it makes the neighbors happy.
