Route 940 gun shop
I spotted this place in Pocono Lake on 940 coming back from the split rock gun show. Anyone been in there? Is the shop any good? I was on a tight schedule and didn't have time to stop in.

Re: Route 940 gun shop
I have never been to it. I did not even realize there was a gun shop on 940.
Where is it on 940?

Stopped in Once,A crowd of Two customers from N Y Blocking the small counter, could not see any prices, looks like a small amount of handguns, lower end and more rifles and shotties on the rack.Did not wait and left the store, thats all my experience with this shop.Another shop on 903,better service and customer relations,Young Lady very knowledgeable and helpful.

Re: Route 940 gun shop
Never been to the one on 940 but I have purchased several guns from Eastern Arms & Outfitters off of 903. They moved in the last year, they are across from the dollar general on 903. The staff there knows a lot & always try to inform the customer before purchasing and they do have a female who works there. She is nice and really tries to help out. I like that because sometimes Ive found certain male employees at various gun shops to be a little condescending towards me when I purchase guns. Just depends. Their hours vary but they have later hours somedays.
currently; 10+ & counting. everyday carry w/ruger lcp.

Re: Route 940 gun shop
I stopped in over lunch one day this fall. Front door was open and three or four guys hanging out inside. The guy told me that they were closed, come back another day. Could have been a whole lot more polite. Also, there was so much cigarette smoke inside the shop, I damned near got emphysema from the few seconds that I was there. It reeked!
I won't be going back.Sed ego sum homo indomitus
