Bloomberg's Anti-Gun Lobby Takes Another Huge Hit With 23 Reelection Failures
Nearly two-dozen members of Michael Bloomberg's Mayors Against Illegal Guns lost reelection earlier this week, delivering another blow to the anti-gun group that has been losing members at a rapid pace for more than year. Here is the list of members who were defeated:
Daniel Juarez – Hawthorne, CA
Patrick J. Morris – San Bernardino, CA
Richard A. Moccia – Norwalk, CT
Gow Fields – Lakeland, FL
Earnestine D. Pittman – East Point, GA
Nancy Chaney – Moscow, ID
Joshua J. Cohen – Annapolis, MD
Thatcher W. Kezer, III – Amesbury, MA
Linda M. Balzotti – Brockton, MA
James H. Suttle – Omaha, NE
Eric A. Spear – Portsmouth, NH
Lorenzo T. Langford – Atlantic City, NJ
Robert L. Bowser – East Orange, NJ
Mary Foster – Peekskill, NY
Thomas S. Richards – Rochester, NY
Robbie Perkins – Greensboro, NC
Jackie Holcombe – Morrisville, NC
Ted Andrzejewski – Eastlake, OH
Margaret D. Stock – Butler, PA
Pete Lagiovane – Chambersburg, PA
Bonnie Heath – Pottstown, PA
Ralph Harrington – West Elizabeth, PA
Mike McGinn – Seattle, WA
The 23 mayors who lost re-election were opposed and confronted by the National Rifle Association and represented more than 10 percent of MAIG membership. In addition, 69 Mayors Against Illegal Guns members chose to retire and not seek re-election. Many of the mayors who retired represented cities in New York and Connecticut, both states that have implemented harsher gun control laws since last year.

Those numbers seem a bit confusing. It says 23 were voted out, which was 10% of the total, and another 69 retired. So... MAIG lost 40% of its membership in one day? And there were only 230 members before that? That just doesn't sound right.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg only has a very short time left in office, but his $25 Billion Net Worth continues to grow.
Soon he will have " a lot of free time on his hands ".
Bet you will see his effort to significantly control firearms escalate.
I wish he would take up a mistress! Maybe Anthony Weiner can advise him in that endeavor.
