Want to find Lancaster County hang out.
I live in Christiana, I'v all but given up on finding a range close by. Everything seems to be a sportsmans club that "is not accepting new members at this time". The Atglen club alone supposedly has 2,000+ members. You couldn't tell on any given day of the week...
So, being from TN and Sikorsky bringing me here, I have no friendships or affiliations with land owners. If there is anyone out there that would like to share a stretch of dirt, I would be willing to share my talents in repairs, armory, payment in cash or liquid bread, your choice.
I've performed range control in the Army, and believe in leaving the area as good or better than before I arrived. I will treat you and your property with due respect.
PM or post here, there is an opportunity to make some cash as well, I know few of guys in the same situation, I work with, that would enjoy a day out grouping, zeroing, and targeting for a small entry fee.
Thanks,
Ernest

NHRPC.org is expensive, but I hear it's a good club.

Re: Want to find Lancaster County hang out.
There's a bunch of clubs in Lancaster county, many of them have placed limits on membership in the last year or two. I used to belong to Columbia Fish and Game, we had about 20 new applications each month for over a year. Went from 1300-1700 members in the 2 years I was there. Most clubs have lists of people interested in the open spots, some do a lottery, some are first come, first served.
I think you'll have a tough time finding someone to let you shoot on their property. Liability is a big issue, folks are pretty particular about who they let on their property with firearms. Good luck with your search.

Thanks for the leads. Keep them coming. I know I'm not the only one in this situation. Also Village Arms mentioned a public shooting range. I can't remember the name of it because I was to busy contemplating my possible AR purchase.

Check Manheim Sportsmen's Club in Lebanon County. Little bit of a drive, but it is a nice range. It is off of Rt 72 just above the auto auction.
