Re: Last Smelter to Close
About 6 months ago, USA today actually had some investigative journalism going on looking into all the lead pollution from old smelting operation that shut down 30+ years ago and how the EPA dripped the ball on monitoring and cleanup of these sights, many of which were in neighborhoods and near by playgrounds. Hammered them pretty hard and actually caused them to go clean up some of these sites.

Re: Last Smelter to Close
Not just bullets but car batteries are going to be impacted. I guess we'll be shipping lead ore to China now.

Allen West weighs-in. Sure, there are workarounds for now, but don't crinkle-up your tin foil hats just yet. We know this admin is hostile to 2A. We know this admin is not above using the IRS, EPA and and any other means at their disposal for sinister purposes, so where there's no smelter, there may yet be smoke...

Re: Last Smelter to Close
Who are you claiming is ignorant? If you're implying that the administration is ignorant to what impact this will or could have on ammunition, you're being ignorant. If they can't ban guns via the legislative process, they will just use regulation to help achieve their end goal. What good is a firearm without a round of ammunition? They aren't ignorant to that fact. They know exactly what they are doing. The IRS wasn't ignorant to the what they were doing when scrutinizing tax exempt status applications leading up to the election, and the EPA sure as shit isn't ignorant to how they play a role into furthering the agenda as well.
