Default American Eagle "Suppressor" 9mm 124gr?

    Anybody use this stuff?

My Max-11 can get finicky with cheap ammo or when it gets dirty (from cheap ammo). The Fiocchi 158 grain is almost flawless but in short supply nowadays.

I picked up some from PSA and have had no issues with it. I run it through an EVO 9, on a pistol and a SBR. I have compared it to some 147 grn stuff I have and I think it is slightly quieter.

I would say it is cleaner than the 147 grn stuff I run.

I ran two boxes through a trident. Used it on a USP and mp5k clone. No malfuntions and seemed quit. It did not seem all that dirty either. I would get some more if I were to find it.

I also bought some from PSA. Have yet to shoot it, but what attracted me to it is that it is about 100 fps slower than regular Fed AE 9mm 124 grn stuff. I shoot IDPA and USPSA and with the factory claimed velocity this generates a power factor of 127.

When I received it, I was happy to read on the box that another difference between the regular stuff and the suppressor ammo was the cleanliness of the suppressor ammo, so as not to foul the baffles in the suppressor. For me that's a win/win - right at the power factor and clean.

    Good luck.
