Default CC in Philadelphia/ Federal Court

I have federal jury duty Wednesday through Friday. My hotel room is several blocks from the court house so I would like to have my gun with me. I can carry in Philly, but can anyone verify if I can take my gun into the court house and check it in?

I know I can at the Capitol but wasnt sure how court houses worked. I appreciate the help.

    Thanks

Doesn't look like it's a good idea. Call 'em and ask if they have lockers available for citizens other than LE.

No checks at a Federal courthouse, unless you plan on checking into a cell! This issue was discussed recently here:

I know, as well as most here know, the CJC for municipal court has lockers for citizens who choose to OC/CC (I know not the federal building where he's going). They (feds) give on duty uniformed police officers a hard time to go, when we know we need to check our guns in upon entering the building. So good luck with what you decide to do. If you had posted earlier, I could have went down myself, checked and asked security and reported back to you.

It sucks but, I'd recommend what the others here say as well.
