Default Trip to Sarco in Easton

I was thinking of taking a drive to check out Sarco in Easton next weekend. It's about a 2 hour drive for me. Not looking for anything in particular, just looking. Having never been there would it be worth the trip? Anything else near by to make a day of it?

Heritage Guild is literally a 1 minute walk up the street from Sarco.

Heritage is like a Cabelas style gun shop...Sarco is more my cup 'o tea...lots of vintage stuff, nice used selection...and a great gunsmith.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like it would be worth the drive to checkout both places.

I doubt it would be worth a 2 hour drive. There's really not all that much there.

If you see something on their website that you need you can call them and ask them to have it sent over from Jersey and hold it for you. Then call to confirm they got it before your trip. That way at least you would have something to take home to justify making a trip to satisfy your curiosity.

I don't personally like Heritage but they have a lot of guns, no doubt about that.

Also, American Sport Shooting is inside the Gold shop at the intersection of 22 and 248, right nearby. Probably the largest selection of quality holsters and accessories, and some guns as well. Only a couple miles from the other two so after a two hour drive I would drop by.

Well if there are 3 places all within a close distance of each-other I think I can justify the trip. I spend 2 hours each day in my car commuting to and from work so the drive isn't that bad. Any good restaurants to hit on the way back to York?

25th Street exit off Rt22. It's in the 25th street shopping center and shares a store with the gold place. Same shopping center as Long John Silvers and McDonalds.

If I had a day to kill I wouldn't consider a drive to HG and Sarco a waste, but Id probably bundle it with some other things.

T&T reloading is in Stockertown, not that far, but check the hours he is open.

Going up the road to Allentown you also have Eagle Arms.
