Modified Mexican carry, at least it covers the trigger. Doesn't seem like it really secures the pistol.

Re: MIC Holsters... What are your thoughts.
I have a MIC Razors Edge "holster" which I use to designate a "Hot" pistol.
I would never want to rely on it to carry because it does nothing to ensure the gun does not fall out of your waist and onto the ground. The guns the MIC is made to fit are not exactly pocket carry guns.
If you want a minimalist "holster" similar to the MIC check out the Vanguard 2 from Raven Concealment. It has a loop which retains the firearm.

Re: MIC Holsters... What are your thoughts.
I use a MIC with my glock in the summer time. I can fit my glock 19 in my short's pockets with no issues. It is easy to access my glock without any real issues. I have a habit of wearing my FNX45 on my right hand side and my glock 19 in my left pocket.
MIC is extremely secure in my opinion and as long as you're smart, you won't have any issues. I would never carry a firearm in my waist band freely though. It isn't comfortable or secure in any fashion.
