S&W definitely seems to be the overall winner hands down...and I won't argue that fact. Two of my favorite revolvers to shoot that I couldn't part with are:

    1) Ruger Security Six .357, 4" barrel
    2) Taurus Raging Bull .44 mag, 8" ported barrel (blast to shoot)

All these suggestions and only ONE person mentioned a Blackhawk????

Besides a S&W model 10 (or 15) The Blackhawk is a must have (especially in .45 Colt and some HOT 300 grain handloads)

Edit, OK two people. Still not enough.

    Nobody picked the Taurus Judge.

If I had 5 revolvers, one of them would be a Judge.

I am sufficiently self confident in my sexuality that I have no problem stepping out with one of my "Ladies" at my side (or on my hip, as it were.)

IMO, the 3" 65LS is the perfect S&W K frame carry gun.

    "K-frame" 38SPL I have a S&W 36 from the 70's, a Charter stainless from 1980, and a Taurus DAO stainless/alloy. Any/all of them are just great.

    S&W 19, 4" 357Mag

Ruger Flattop Blackhawk in 44 MAG, 7-1/2"

    Ruger 22LR/22Mag convertible

I've gotten along all these years without a Colt SAA, but I still would like a good Detectives Special in 2", and the Colt 4" Official Police is just one of the most elegant pieces of straightforward gun that ever existed. So # 5 would be one of the latter 2.
