Default Top 5 semi's that should be in everyone's collection

Always interested to see what members consider to be their must have guns.

    Top 5 everyone should have:
    1. Glock
    2. 1911
    3. Beretta 92
    4. Sig p226
    5. CZ 75

My top 5 in my inventory are:
    1. 1911 Ed Brown Kobra
    2. Beretta 92fs
    3. Glock 17
    4. Sig p226 9mm
    5. FNX-40

I have a cz 75 but really want to add a cz 75b in polished stainless. I also want to add a p226 elite stainless. I'm pretty sure those are my last 2 grail guns.

Good list, I just have a few differences

    Top 5 (in no order):
    1) Glock (preferably a g17 or g19)
    2) 1911
    3) CZ 75
    4) Sig 220/226/228/229
    5) Ruger .22 (either 22/45, Mark 1, 2, or 3)

    1) Star Firestar M-40 (my personal favorite and daily carry)
    2) Colt 1911 (because ammo is so plentiful)
    3) Ruger .22 LR of some model (.22/45 is my choice)
    4) Glock 22 (because I am a .40 S&W fan)
    5) Desert Eagle .44 Magnum (with the 10" barrel for hunting)

You forgot a nice revolver, say a 686 or GP100. You can skip the 92, IMO......

I am assuming you want the list limited to handguns. As I was opening the thread I had a mental list of long guns going through my head.

    Ruger Mk II
    Springfield XD (or Glock)
    1911
    Luger
    Colt Woodsman

    Glock G22 Gen4
    Springfield TRP(and bunch other 1911's)
    Beretta 92A1

Two that should be considered for the list:

    Walther PPK or PPK/s
    Browning Highpower

too many semi handguns as is I didn't want to add revolvers.

I qualified with an m9 so I have always had a beretta in some version. Funny thing is I took my 92fs out right before my surgery and I was hitting paper (not necessarily targets) at 50 yards, for me that is as good as I can shoot. Only other gun I shoot close to that are my 1911.

I totally forgot about the browning highpower but the difficulty of the list is to keep it to 5 must haves.
