Rhode Island pistol permit.

Hey all

I currently have an unrestricted permit out of NY. I have non resident permits from NV, UT, AZ, FL, PA, NH, ME, CT and MA. I'm in the process on applying for a permit from RI. I don't think I should have any problems since I own a business and I conduct business in Rhode Island. I read the application and took the NRA pistol course and scored a range score of 225 out of the 300 on the army L slow fire. Has anybody else that has applied share their experience?

I haven't applied but what I've read suggests an uphill climb for you as a non-resident. You would apply to the AG's office(?) who is apparently "may-issue", the RI residents applying locally are supposed to be "shall-issue". Your business might help though. RI is very much an oddity when it comes to permits.
